About the role
Senior Data Engineer on team.blue's Central Data Platform, building the customer-domain data products that should become a single view of 3.5 million users across 60+ European hosting and SaaS brands. The group is a mix of traditional hosting and adjacent SaaS, so the job is unifying messy brand data into a semantic layer for BI, ops, and AI.
You own ETL and ELT pipelines, modeling, orchestration, and observability, then sit as a sparring partner for analytics, ML, and AI teams. The spec is explicit on Databricks (PySpark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog) or equivalent open table formats, expert SQL, Airflow or dbt, Docker and Kubernetes, plus 7+ years. Mentoring juniors is in the job, not a nice-to-have.
