About the role
Senior AI Scientist at Owkin, the Paris-based AI-biotech building K Pro, an "AI scientist" for pharmaceutical research on top of a large multimodal patient-data network. This role co-leads Owkin's agentic AI Scientist: an autonomous system that reasons over biological data, designs experiments and drives drug-discovery work, with the Platform Biology and Product teams.
It is less single-task ML and more meta-research: architecting agents capable of multi-step reasoning, tool use and self-correction, and frameworks where agents propose hypotheses and design experiments to validate in a wet lab. Expect frontier GenAI and agentic work (Chain-of-Thought, ReAct, long-context management, tool-augmented generation) with a strong bias toward building tools rather than waiting for perfect datasets.
