About the role
Italgas is hiring an AI Engineer for Bludigit, its digital transformation and innovation business. The role contributes to the design, development, and production rollout of AI solutions for Group initiatives, working with Data, IT, Business, and technology partner teams. Work spans Databricks and Azure OpenAI, RAG and vector search for document and knowledge applications, MLOps, AI agents, and cloud integrations.
The engineer will also help maintain security, governance, compliance, monitoring, and data protection standards while contributing to the company’s AI platform and generative AI experiments. The listing asks for 3-5 years of relevant enterprise experience, Python, SQL, Azure, and familiarity with ML, LLM applications, retrieval, and CI/CD.
