About the role
Credit Data Engineer at Klarna in Milan, owning the global underwriting tables that feed scoring, real-time decisioning, monitoring, and reporting. The job is a data product: applications, decisions, features, repayments, delinquency, with SLAs on freshness, completeness, accuracy, and lineage.
You design those tables so both humans and AI agents can use them (stable IDs, canonical events, metric definitions, machine-readable contracts), then run batch and streaming pipelines. Partners are Credit Portfolio Management, policy, modeling, treasury, and finance. Title has no level. Spec wants proven ownership of mission-critical products, not a junior first seat.
Highlights
- Milan onsite, core credit underwriting data.
- SQL, Python, PySpark, Airflow, Kafka, Redshift, AWS, Terraform.
- Batch plus streaming, with observability and incident reviews.
- No salary disclosed.
